The CIRCUIT’S ROLE The circuit exists to support the life of the local churches in worship, mission and service and promote co-operation between them. It is responsible for optimising the gifts of its people , both lay and ordained, managing and the use of its buildings.

The CIRCUIT’S
POLICY
To encourage each church to continue moving away from merely
maintaining congregations and buildings to one of sharing God’s
transforming love with the community whilst at the same time
sustaining meaningful worship and helping their people to grow
in faith.
Local churches are encouraged to seek out, and respond to,
outreach opportunities within their communities, including
working on projects with ecumenical working.

The CIRCUIT’S
LEADERSHIP TEAM
The leadership
consists of the Superintendent, the ordained ministers and five
lay members and its role is to act as the executive for the
Circuit Meeting and as such is responsible for formulating
policy. It is also the forum for discussing issues that arise as
a result of the policies and making recommending solutions to
the Circuit Meeting. It
is also responsible for implementing decisions taken at the
Circuit Meeting.
